It's easy to romanticize mental illness, but it is incredibly dangerous in doing so. From Syd Barrett from Pink Floyd to the average human bean walking down the street, when someone is trapped in their own personal hell, help should be accessible. So for this weeks episode, enjoy the playlist and trivia on artists who have been diagnosed with (or assumed to have) Schizophrenia and other disorders. I hope this brings forth conversations of the artists mental state and the art.
*This weeks playlist is a collection of artists who have had their own personal battles with mental disorders*

Whether you and your lover are miles apart or suffer a colder distance due to being emotionally unavailable, there is a remedy. Music/art can cure what ails a relationship. I feel like there's some other profound stuff I should say about love and music, but you already know it. It's said in your favorite song or book.
And to my good friend, I included the song you have dedicated to your girlfriend, you both may be miles apart but the love and adoration between you two is resilient and radiant. Cheers to you both.

A huge thank you to Diego Luna for coming on to the show and a huge thank you to my social anxiety that made me speak at 100 miles per hour during this guest segment...I apologize for my hot mess of a self (but it can be a little charming, yes?), but indulge in the playlist curated by a luchador aficionado who captures culture and more from behind the lens. Check out his photography on his Instagram Page, then while you're at it find my little corner of the internet on Instagram, Twitter, Blog, and TikTok.

Whether we like it or not, for majority of us, the highway/freeway systems is part of our daily commute. I can almost guarantee that majority of drivers don't give the systems that are so ingrained into our daily routines a second thought, but they have a pretty interesting and dark history. Learn a little on how freeways came to be while calming your road rage with these sweet tunes.

Napalm and Friends: Boots and Bandoliers

This weeks Napalm and Friends episode is with the incredible Mark DeAnda (AKA Mark Muerto). A creative who has served this country all the while maintaining a strong foothold in punk ideology. When he is not setting sail with heavy artillery he uses his voice that sounds like a haunted phonograph playing the soundtrack of gravel and rain (I mean this in the best hauntingly mesmerizing way) along with his lighting fast fingers plucking his trusty guitar. A member of the San Diego rockabilly and punk band, Los Muertos (find their album over on Apple, Spotify, and on major music platforms) and an adventurer at his very core, tag along his misadventures on his personal instagram or read on his meditations on the military and punk. As always, the episodes playlist is picked out by the guest.
